Totus Tuus handmade Rosary beads
This rosary is dedicated to Pope John Paul II, who from the beginning of his papacy, dedicated himself to Mary with the words "Totus Tuus" - Totally Yours. He also attributed his survival after the assassination attempt on his life to the intervention of Our Blessed Lady.
"Totus Tuus. This phrase is not only an expression of piety, or simply an expression of devotion. It is more. During the Second World War, while I was employed as a factory worker, I came to be attracted to Marian devotion. At first, it had seemed to me that I should distance myself a bit from the Marian devotion of my childhood, in order to focus more on Christ. Thanks to Saint Louis of Montfort, I came to understand that true devotion to the Mother of God is actually Christocentric, indeed, it is very profoundly rooted in the Mystery of the Blessed Trinity, and the mysteries of the Incarnation and Redemption". [John Paul II in Crossing the Threshold of Hope, Arnoldo Mondadori Editori, 1994]

Louis-Marie Handmade Rosary beads
|
Speaking of Louis Marie, (see JPII above), our next Rosary is dedicated to him. An 18thc Dominican, he was perhaps the most famous propagator of the Rosary. His books 'The Secret of the Rosary' and 'True devotion to Mary' are still widely read today. He also promoted total consecration to Mary, his personal motto was 'Totus Tuus', which Pope John Paul II took for the motto of his papacy. Montfortian spirituality can be summed up in the formula: "To God Alone, by Christ Wisdom, in the Spirit, in communion with Mary, for the reign of God."

Mary's Garden handmade Rosary beads
|
Why Mary's Garden? The Rosary is called Mary's Garden because you open the gate
( The crucifix), and walk up the path ( Pater & 3 aves) to meet Mary at the centre, as she leads
you around her garden, ( the 5 decades) and tells you the story of her Son's life.
This Rosary combines 8mm Czech faceted
peach glass aves with 12mm Czech glass
paters in tangerine.
Between the aves are 4mm silver-lined
beads in a light peach colour. Paters are
flanked by faceted rondelles in soft green
as are the Japanese seed beads.
The effect is floral and harmonious.
The Ave Maria centre and Holy Trinity
crucifix are in hand-cast bronze.
